I have noticed that has happened. Measure twice and cut on the wrong side the mark.

Did they put extra staples in?

Ron,
Have you checked to see if the insulation in the cap is still in place?

Honestly not too concerned since my wife has that closet so FULL the clothes act as insulation!

I may pop a clearance light this Summer and take a look for fun.

Good picture cummins. The 2 bats just to the right of the front aluminum stud are the 2 pieces behind the safe that I mentioned; mine had fallen down. To the right of those two bats is the recessed closet shelving, and the insulation is glued to that. Also, that front stud is the only aluminum stud in the front, except for the one on the other corner. When the front cap is placed on, there is no more insulation, and the void between the insulation and the cap is about 8 inches or more in most places. I feel that they should used thicker insulation, with better glue, to fill the void from the closet wall to the front of the cap.

The screws had broken where the frame fastens to the side wall, and I put in about 6. At the top, you can see it's >1" short and they had one screw in the left side. I installed another on the right side.

Wing, the insulation glued to the back and sides of the closet shelving, is glued really good, and I don't think that it will detach. With time, as the glue eventually dries, it may. When I pulled the insulation off from the side of the closet recess, beside the safe, the glue was still tacky. I sprayed adhesive really good and replaced it when I finished. As far as the 2 bats on either side of the recessed shelving, I don't see how it can remain vertical.
