I have used my Baby "Q" since 2005, it's still in great condition.

I removed the regulator and added a fitting so I can run a hose from my connection under the RV to the BBQ.
Made a fitting so I can run Propane Camp Fire at the same time.
You will see it in person soon!

Blackstone 36" with grill and griddle. Tapped in to the high pressure propane line on our last 3 campers. They do come in smaller sizes. I'd never buy a camper that didn't have room for my grill.

Too many choices are available and too many different preferences too make a worthwhile recommendation. That said, one of my previous campers came with an Aussie grill that we like so much that we kept it when we traded the camper.

Blackstone 22" with two burners. Its a flat top griddle but cooks great chicken, steak, burgers, fish and of course any kind of breakfast

I also have an 18" weber charcoal grill for steaks. Nothing beat charcoal flavor

I would love to carry many types of grills and smokers. But being full time, room is at a premium.

I think I am between a Coleman roadtrip or a Weber Q1200.

I can guarantee you the Coleman will rot out well before the Weber. My stainless burner and cast iron grate both are in excellent condition.

Coleman makes pretty decent products but mostly middle of the road. Most portable grills worth their salt come in around $250 to $350. I also have this "clam shell" cooker I use as well. I don't cook much inside.

I have the Blackstone 17” griddle. Easy to set up, clean and store. I cook 85% of our meals on it. https://www.blackstoneproducts.com/p...e-top-griddle/

Every time I go to Lowe's I stand there staring at that Blackstone for 30 minutes. Actually put her in the cart once an pushed her around the store like a newborn baby...but put her back. I'm gonna have a weak moment real soon and bring her home in pink diapers! Only drawback...it's heavy!

I’ve got a Coleman Roadtrip. I’m not that crazy about it. I also carry a Weber Smokey Joe charcoal grill that I prefer. I’ve also got a propane adapter and hose that I can use for the Coleman (if I use it), but I usually find myself using the 1 lb. bottles as they’re easier to set up and I’m not restricted as to where I can place it.

If you want to use the RV hookup port, the Coleman Roadtrip will not work. I've tried every way possible and have all the adapters for the hookup, but the pressure is regulated too low. I carry a small bbq grill tank and the small green bottles of LP.

Good to know. I liked this one as it has a 1/2 grill grate and half griddle grate. Plus it came with a stand. But I do not want to carry more propane with me. Using the factory propane line is a must for me.

I am now leaning towards Weber. I think the 1200 model would be the model. It is $30 more then the 1000 model. But you get the two folding side tables and a temp gauge. I also believe that the lid is a little taller for larger. My big concern about the Weber is the grates. I worry about the porcelain coating breaking down. It happened on a larger grill that I had.

Do you have the Q1000 or Q1200? Looking forward to seeing your setup in the next month.
Did you removed the grills regulator? As from my understanding the propane is already regulated at the quick connect auxiliary propane line.

OK, before showing you my setup I think we need to have a reading comprehension class.

Class is in session. All of the “portable propane grills” on Weber’s website are all Q models(1000,1200,2000,2200 & 3200). So I guess I should assume that you have the first Q model out that they called the baby and now call the Q1000 now?

Vintage 2005 for years they called the small one Baby Q. I assume it's now the 1000?

Also I did mention I had removed the regulator.

I searched Weber Baby Q, I don't have a thermostat. They also showed a 1200, it did have a thermostat.
