Hydraulic hose replacement

My street side front landing gear lower hose is starting to drip fluid, approx. 1 drop per 24 hours. Appears to be near the crimp connection and I've triple checked the connections. The solution appears to be to replace the hose.

So while connected to my truck with the legs up, do I need to provide some sort of support to prevent the legs from dropping down when the hose is removed?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Short answer is no. They are double acting and will stay in whatever position they are in unless acted upon by an outside force, such as a pump. Most any hyd. shop can make you a new hose.
Good luck
