Just back from the SOITC Rally

Rally was great. About 140 rigs, lots of food, vendors and good seminars. During the DRV tour there was an update on their future building plans. They are going to build a separate PDI and parts room facility --- next to the new maintenance shop. This will take the PDI out of the plant and take the parts out of the maintenance shop. It will open up the maintenance shop adding 5 bays to a total of 10. Lets hope it improves the customer service and the lag time in scheduling.

DRV techs were on site doing small repairs. A popular item seemed to be the installation of the MorRyde steps.

Next years meeting is in Oklahoma.

Don

Thanks for the update. Guess the actual SOITC site has died on the vine?

Happy Travels.

Not really, it's actually more active than this.

I just went there a couple of days ago and did not see many new posts since I was last on 6 plus months ago.

There must have been something wrong with the search you did. I check the SOITC site daily. There may not always be a new topic daily, but if not there are usually at least a few responses to existing topics daily. I wouldn't call it a busy site, but it is active.

Glad to here the rally went well. We are going to attend the Western regional rally in April. I am considering the national rally in Oklahoma next year, but I am not sure it will work for our schedule yet or not (we still work full time so have to work around that).
