Yep, same problem for me. Plus the same problem in large kitchen / living room slide. Paul said that he can do both slides in 40 hours without removing the slides. Most places quote 40 hours per slide. Hope he is right. Keep us posted as to how it goes as I will be there Oct. 8th for the work on our rig.

Another reason we are happy without a door side bedroom slide!
Plywood floors in slides are 1 or 1 1/8"

DANM Ron, it is happening to you too?
Can they replace it with plastic wood? If they used it from the factory it would never rot. at the factory? Then they could just keep using the geocell cracking caulk.

Does the geocell stuff not hold up?
I just ordered a tube that took 2 weeks to get. None of my baggage doors were sealed

It is what they put on in the factory. And if you read there technical sheet it does not recommend over coating. They recommend stripping the old out and apply a new bead. We put a big thread on Facebook about it. Plus you need to look at the bottom date of the tube. As Geocell states that it only has a 1 year shelf life. And if we’re you bought it does not most stock frequently you could have an expired tube.

I can't speak for the bedroom slide floors but when I was modifying my kitchen slide under the fridge, that slide was all of an inch thick! I even measured to be absolutely sure.
I had not seen plywood that thick before.

I wonder if they just cut off the back of the floor , outside of the slide. And then rececure a new piece not the whole floor? I saw someone that did that to there rig. It was not a DRV, but a slide floor is a slide floor.
Please keep us posted with your floor replacement.

Paul said they replaced the whole floor. He had a couple of slide floors setting in the shop ready to go when we were there in May. I guess we'll find out in October.
