Short screws

On the newer units it looks like they went with shorter screws that hold the cabinet doors on. These screws are only 1/2" long our 07.5 had at least 1" screws.

My wife opened one of the doors above the theater seating on the door slide and the whole thing came off and fell to the seats.

So I would advise getting similar screws and replacing them all before there is any damage caused by doors falling off!

The screws would probably be fine but the installers use impact drills and over tighten them just like the screws on the outside horizontal trim pc and the grease caps on the axles. GRRRRR

Cheap fix is to put a drop of superglue in the hole and run the screw back in.

"Cheap" is using too short of screws to begin with!

The holes are on the top opening of the cabinet and I would not want the glue accidentally dripping down.

I will let Greg know and he can send me the appropriate screws.

Actually the way to best fix and re use the screws is to push a toothpick into the hole and re install the screw.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the heads up, we'll need to look into this.

Are you guys on the road everyday to where your trailer sees a lot more road time? Once we hit the road, we will only be moving every 2-3 months. I'm simply curious as to if this will make a difference on how many issues (like yours with the door falling off) we will have compared to those constantly on the road.

So far only one 4-500 mile trip over the 4th. Fact is the screws are too short and these were over torqued.

You can also drill out the hole to the size of a wooden golf tee and use wood glue to glue it in the hole. Trim flush after it dries and then redrill for the correct screw size.
