Not sure if all are the same, but first off, you should have a door on the outside behind your fridge. You can access the plug and remove the water line. Inside, you just need to see what brackets are in place to hold fridge from moving. Once done, you just need to wiggle it out of the hole it is setting in. Remove the doors and turn sideways and out the door of the RV. There may be a video on YouTube that shows a removal, but basically, it works as I have stated. It isn't that hard and if will make you feel better, call the factory on Tuesday. I'm sure a tech will walk you through the process.

Someone at the factory should know how the refrigerator is mounted in the cabinet and give the unit owner the answer. I have always had good luck when calling the factory once you explain the problem, they usually put someone on the line that can help. Sometimes the correct course is speaking with those who put the unit together or have first-hand knowledge.

I can tell you that when I rebuilt the "floor" under my fridge, our fridge was tilting inward (towards the interior of the coach). The only thing I could see holding our fridge in place was a couple of wood screws right under the front leveling leg/wheels (one on each side). I believe that's all that's holding it in at least from what I could see.

Unplug the power cord from the little door outside and the water line, remove the screws from under the front near the floor and I'm fairly sure it'll roll right out. I have to admit, I have NOT tried this as I didn't need to remove the fridge just brace it back up.

On our 2017 Challenger 37LX, the residential fridge was faulty out of the starting gate. Thor had me contact Whirlpool, Whirlpool authorized a repair visit with no hassles. However the repairman can not remove the fridge or put it back.

My son helped me. We had to remove several screws at the bottom of the fridge (which sits on a cabinet, not the floor) and remove a wood fascia from the top. The fascia was stapled in place, so we pried it off - when we replaced it, we used wood screws to resecure it.

Behind the fascia, there were brackets screwed into the cabinet. We removed the screws. I was disappointed to see some screws were missing, others were mismatched. I corrected that on reinstall.

We pulled the fridge from the cabinet, slowly and carefully. It is heavy! We lowered it to the floor.

Behind the fridge, the cord went down under the cabinet. A vent was in place, easily removed to unplug the unit.

There are a lot of wires running behind the fridge. Power, coax, I don’t know what some were but there were a lot. I used zip ties to clean up the spaghetti. I also used a hand vacuum to clean the sawdust and other clutter the original Thor installers saw fit to leave there.

The repairman found that both fans were dead, something he had not seen before. One dead fan, but not both of them. He ordered the replacements and returned a week later and installed them.

It took my son, me and my neighbor to raise the fridge back up into the cabinet. We used lifting straps, which made it much easier than otherwise.

Got home from my trip yesterday, started removing fridge. Five screws in top cupboard, screwed into wood brace across top. Then 2 scars screwed in bottom by the wheels. Slid it out, 2 people lifted to floor. Waiting on repairman from whirlpool again. Not that bad of a job so far.

The island comes out real easy. 2 long screws in each end, disconnect plumbing and away it goes.

On a separate thread, I resolved my Whirlpool freezer / fridge issue having received excellent advice from others. Picked up weather stripping from Lowe’s for both doors. Fridge temp dropped from 58 to 32 and freezer is holding at 0 for the last two days. Highly recommend checking for heat coming in from door gaskets by inserting bill of any denomination and pulling. If there’s no resistance, then cooling is difficult and will need to fill the gap as noted in this response. Good luck!

Is this additional weather stripping that goes over what’s there from the factory, or replacement?
