Ryan,
Recently faced with pump would not stop running--replaced with a Flojet 6143A because it seemed to be close to OEM specs. Do not get one of these--low pressure/pulsing. Will be interested in what you replace with if repairs don't work.

This thread had me wondering..... of something like this would be worthwhile if you had the room. It looks to be 14" H x 15" L x 9/5" W... not sure if it would fit under the bed... but maybe. One of the reviews said to not let the picture fool you as it is very compact.

Thanks, I just bought a pump local as I had to cut off the water completely (fresh tank and city water) because of the leak.
Man a couple of those screws are a $*@$@=$+ to get out.
Thanks Ron, I’m going to see if I can rebuild the old one to keep it as a spare.

I picked up a Remco 3200. The RV dealer had two pumps and this size wise was the smaller of the two. As there is not much space between all of the plumbing and wiring. The pump is MUCH quieter then the stock Flojet one. The stock one always had a hammering sound to it. Not this new pump. So if you need to replace your pump, I would recommend the Remco 3200. My only complaint is that the base mounting points are different then the stock pump. I was expecting them to be more uniform.

Water Pump

The biggest problem in our Thor Axis was the fact that it was hard piped installed directly to the floor under one of the twin beds. Moved the same ShurFlo to a side wall with flexible connections and it made all the difference in the world with the noise. Flow was never an issue.

So glad that you got your pump quieter. Ours (DRVs) are ALL mounted in the basement not under a bed. So my comments are about my DRV. This is why the thread is in the DRV section not the general section.

Just trying to keep things on topic. I’m sure that you did not go to the DRV section and click on the thread. I would bet that you just look at the new posts/threads button. Seems to be a way that a lot of people read this forum. I apologize that the DRV section is the most active.
Again glad to hear that moving your pump works better. Happy travels.

Thanks

We added the Shurflo 182 Bladder in line to our stock pump (all under the mattress) well over a year ago. This quieted down that hammering sound and the flow of water is much more consistent when showering!
