Wheel Info Needed

On the 2019 DRVSUITES does anyone know the brand of wheels now being used? Also are they HD 6050 LBS. Or there abouts. Thanks

Have you called DRV and asked them? What issue are you having with them?

HiSpec is the OEM supplier for wheels and tires for DRV.

Call HiSpec, at least you’ll get someone that knows.
(574) 807-8588

Ask for Tracey.

I just had my wheels off and power washed them and forgot to check.

Some of the wheels have a load rating on the inside of the ‘spokes’, will be a 4 digit number for pounds.

Look on the back of the wheel for the load

Look on the back of the wheel, in what I call the webbing. You will see the load rating on the wheel. The should be Hi Spec wheels.

See attachment picture below.

Did you get the information you were looking for? I've been researching since we lost our spare and finally came across the information on our 38 RSSA.

Yes called Hi Spec. They said they were 4850. However I have not personally inspected any of the Series 10. My 2015 has the series 03 and they are HD 6850.

Question as to why this weight rating would make a difference? If you have the 4850 wheels, then you should keep the weight to under that on each wheel. If you have the 6850 wheel, you are still limited by the tire capacity at 4805. If you are wanting to put the 235 size tires on for extra capacity, won't make any difference which wheel you use, you still shouldn't load past the axle capacity of 8k (9k?). 8k/axle, 4k/wheel, or 9k/axle, 4500/wheel. Are you interested in upsizing to the 235 tires? I just went to the 235 more for the load RATING rather than the LOAD, working just fine so far.

MorRYDE inspected my "SPRINGS" and they said they were well within spec even with that weight.

So Morryde says the 8k springs are ok at +/- 375 over on each tire/wheel? Wonder where they would draw the 'built-in' extra weight line at? Could we go to 500/600/1000?
Just wondering....

Not sure but with a 5th wheel cant you subtract the pin weight? So for 20% pin you would have about 14K for the 17.5K.

MorRyde weighed my rear axles. I have the exact weight in my file 17000 plus. The pin is a another weight. These are heavy rigs and as a full timer well 22k would not be unheard of.

You don't have to be a full timer to see those weights

Or just carry a bunch of stuff.

Ron is not full time and his weights are up there.
