Hey everyone - just joined the forum

Hey everyone,

Just joined this forum...and my wife and I just recently bought our first motorhome - a Thor Miramar 35.2.

So far we love it, but are still in the "honeymoon stage"...we have a lot to learn.

We're going on a 2 day 'shakedown cruise' this week at an RV park near where we live to hopefully figure out how everything works (and to make sure things work as we'd expect).

Anyone else own a Miramar 35.2?

Kim

Hi Kim! Welcome! Hope you enjoy your new rig. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have as we, normally, are a friendly bunch here.

Where in WA State are you located?

Thanks, I'm looking forward to the discussions and maybe even connecting with fellow 'Thor-ites' on the road...

We're just East of Seattle in a small town called Snoqualmie.

Been there numerous times! We are living in Winlock (south of Chehalis), but have lived all over WA State over the years.

Be safe.

Welcome from Florida!! Enjoy your new MH. The best way to get familiar with your MH is to use it.

Congratulations. This is a great forum with very informative and respectful people on board. First suggestion.... buy some decent two walk walkie-talkies and learn how to use them. Worth their weight in accident repair as far as guiding the driver into RV parking spots, etc... I also invested in a cheap head set with a boom microphone for the driver. Enjoy.

Thanks - I was thinking we'd just use our cell phones with headsets... instead of walkie-talkies. Any thoughts on that approach?

That works unless you have no cell service.
