Smile Hello From Newbies

Yes! Had never camped, retired and now new owner of a Thor ACE 27.1.
First outing was day after Christmas at Mission Bay RV Resort (San Diego). It was cold and even rained one day. So glad we followed and camped with our daughter and her family. They showed us the ropes and we had a great getaway!

Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy your new ACE and the camping life style. Good to have your family guiding you thru the process since you are new to camping.

Maciaslm,

Welcome to the forum too.

Robin and I are new to the Thor forum and I hope it's of benefit to us both. We just bought our first Thor motorhome and while a lot of the systems are similar to our previous 5th wheel there is still that "learning curve" to traverse and the excitement that goes along with learning and experiencing new things.

Enjoy it to the fullest and may the journeys be safe and pleasurable.

Welcome

You will learn alot on these forums. At least I sure have and continue to. Motor homes are getting pretty complex and the documentation is iffy, at best. I'm thankful that there are folks here to share with.

Welcome.

Carol and I traded our 2015 Axis for a 2016 ACE 27.1 in early November. We have only been able to spend a week traveling because of the holidays. In that time I've been preparing for our travels by completing the CHF (cheap handling fix) and installing a Saf-T-Plus steering stabilizer. We are relatively new to the forum also. Reading the forum I've already gleaned several ideas that will be of value to us.

Enjoy your ACE.

Dennis and Carol

New to Thor Forum

I am trying to learn how to use this Forum, so please bear with me when I make mistakes. We are not new to RV'ing but new to this Forum. We are finally switching over from the SOITC Forum that we have been reading since 09 when we bought our first DRV Elite Suite. We now have a 2015 DRV Mobile Suite Dallas and love it like we did the Elite. We are presently in Pahrump NV for the winter enjoying the dry but often cool weather. I like what I have been reading on the DRV site and will be keeping up on new post.

Kenneth

Congrats on the new motorhome. We are in Orange county and can tell you that we are so blessed in southern California. We can camp all year round. We spent New Years at Joshua Tree National Park. Cold but beautiful!

God Bless and Safe Travels!

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your ACE. We are still new to the RV world ourselves and have already found it to be WONDERFUL. Hope that you do as well.

How do you remove the cabinet drawers on a 2016 axis 25.2

I just did that. Pull the drawer open to the stop. This will expose a plastic tab on each rail. Push the tab up (or down..the drawer under fridge one side goes up the other goes down!) And pull the drawer out. I did this to access the Low point drains.
