Hello from Northern Maine

Hello all. I just purchased my very first RV. It is a Class A Citation that was manufactured by General Coach in 1980. Photos of the inside to follow. This has been lovingly taken care of and in heated storage each year so it is quite excellent in condition. She needs a new front tire due to the big dry rot crack I found in the sidewall. It has 60K miles and a 454 gas engine and Holley 4 barrel carb. Can't wait to drive her home!

Be sure and check your tire dates. You are probably due for all new tires even if the others look okay.

Was planning to, but thank you for the sound advice. Just getting the one replaced for now to get her home then I am going to try to research what rims and tires I can use to replace the whole shebang. If I cannot find a suitable rim and tire replacement I can get 4 more tires new for just about 100 bucks each. The 8.75-16.5 LT tires are dinosaurs according to my local tire shops...but then again I will do my own research before writing them off...

I also have to research what model this is and try to find a manual lol

This is a tag on the side. Cannot make it out. Obviously born May 1980.what is the writing below saying? BE? B5?

Looks like the coach serial number is BE 0727.
