Hello!

Thank you for accepting me. My family and I are not new to camping due to the fact that we have a coleman Utah popup. we are now looking to upgrade to a bunkhouse slide TT. The problem is so many brands and so many issues. I have been researching for 2 months and it seems to be endless. So I joined to see what I could find here and what else I could learn.

Welcome to our end of the wading pool!
If you can just remember that "most of the fun, is in the shopping."; it'll be easier to accept the fact that you'll always be "looking over the fence", for the next perfect rig!

Happy Shopping!

The consensus seems to be: Find a floorplan you like and go with it--they all will require a little TLC to make them "yours" (and "operable" in some cases).

Welcome.

You may also be limited to size & weight depending on your tow vehicle. You'll need to do your OWN homework on your vehicle capacities, DO NOT ask the rv dealer or car/truck dealer, they DO NOT know or care as as long as they sell you something.

Agree with pick the floor plan that works for you. I'm a new RV owner and I read this and absolutely agree with it "You are buying a kit". I'm in the process of making it my own.

Welcome to the forum! Great advice so far. I would add, check the towing capacity of the vehicle you are planning to use to pull your new trailer. Then deduct extra for all the "stuff" you will be taking along, including people, water and LP gas. It can easily add to several hundred pounds.

We see a lot of overloaded SUVs and pickups out there. It's a recipe for disaster, and maybe a lawsuit later. That floor plan you like with the big slide might require a bigger tow vehicle. Happy shopping!
