Hi there, new owners of a 2018 Thor Freedom Elite FE.

Good evening fellow RVr's. Purchased a new Freedom Elite within just the last several weeks from a Camping World in Roseville, California. The folks there couldn't have been any better for us first time buyers.
Thought perhaps I could slip this quick question in.....
Was walking on the roof just now for the first time and spotted something I need assistance identifying.... looks like a couple of electrical connectors and some rubber plugs on them. There is already a Winegard over the air HD antenna, so, this must be something else. Any thoughts?
thank you and have a pleasant evening.

Looks like Satellite Prewiring.

hey RevJeffrey, any chance you might know where the other end of the wiring might be? After some exhaustive research, I do believe you are correct in that this is pre-wiring for Satellite. (I thought it might have been pre-wiring for solar, but the full specs on this RV indicate pre-wiring for satellite. I was able to spot the wireloom / harness in the storage above the bed, but not sure where it leads.
Any thoughts?
thank you.

Satellite or Solar connector

hey there friends, I still haven't determined if this is a pre-wired connector for Solar or Satellite.

any comments?

There is nothing near the automatic transfer switch to indicate a solar connector. And, if this is a Satellite connection.... where would the other end be?
Even the folks at Camping World where we purchased the unit don't know.
Thor hasn't responded to three separate "customer contact" calls.
anyway, thanks for any feedback.

Those appear to be standard solar connectors, one for positive, one for negative...

I have been looking at adding solar to our VEGAS (pre solar ready model), so I could be wrong...

thank you for your comment. I appreciate any feedback on this topic. Funny how Thor or Camping World doesn't have an answer, so I will take what I can get.
have a nice evening.
