Nope you should be able to log in with the same id/password on any device/computer (I log in on at least 4 devices with the same id).

Thanks Dave
Dave,

You shouldn't have to. The same user id and password should work on all devices. I am able to login using 2 laptops, my iPad and iPhone.

Well add another to the Vegas/Axis family! We'll be headed to Illinois in 2 weeks to pick up our 25.1. We'll be sure to address the issues discussed here and elsewhere.

We won't be doing a lot until spring, but already planning trips and thinking of ways to enhance the rig. We'll be sure to share our experiences along the way.

Dave,

I posted the AC/Heater Recall on this Forum, check the threads. The recall is named:
Safety Recall: 15V-530, Safety Advisory: RC000103 and dated 01 September 2015.

We ran the heater this past weekend in the mountains and when the DW was cleaning up yesterday she noticed that the plastic cover over the heater beneath the closet had melted and was bowed out. I will be bringing that to Thor's notice...so run the gas heat and see if the cover warps on you.

Doc

That doesn't sound good.

Are you talking about the cold air return? On ours under the closet is two drawers and then the cold air return "vent". If I remove it I get access to the water heater plumbing. Seems odd that it would melt?

I wonder if that heater vent you see there is too close to the vent on yours?

Thanks for letting me know what lies behind the panel. I have not yet had to look behind this particular panel. I will when I get some time, but this is what it looks like from the outside...something warped it this past weekend.

Doc, When you winterize, you will have to take this panel off to access the water heater bypass valve.

I'm able to do it without taking that panel off. With the passenger bed panel removed I can reach all the valves...(Not saying I have long ape arms, just that its pretty easy to access from the bed area.)

This picture was taken from the bed area:

Have they switched to plastic? In our 24.1 that panel is the funky wood sandwich stuff the use for all their flat panels. If yours is the same as ours I would suspect moisture related warpage rather than melting.

Regards,

Randy

Randy,

OOpppssss, I "assumed" plastic and heat...must look closer this evening.

Moisture, now that is even scarier.

Hey DocMike-
Mine has the same warp. I noticed it after the first few summer days, maybe from the dealer checking the heater function?

I thought about adding a pair of screws, one in the middle of each side to pull that in. Easy to forget that stuff, when the coach is in storage.

If the coach is under warranty call or better yet email Thor with the picture and they may send you a new one with a label to return the old.

All, I could not find moisture (whew) when I looked. It does appear to be made of something in the wood food group.

Many years ago I purchased a cheese dip and listed on the label of ingredients was "cheese food". I never figured out what that actually was either.

Have sent pictures to CW of Statesville and THor.

Take care.

Worth asking

Every six weeks or so we spend a week or ten days living in our grandchildren's driveway.
I've read Ed Felkers user's guide, how great is that?
Prices seem to be higher in California, I may fly to pick one up. Any thoughts?
We just purchased a Vegas 25.2 in NC. We had checked around some and thought we'd need to travel to get one. However, when we offered a price we wanted to pay, the CW 3 miles away met us half way. So I guess I'm saying its worth a try to avoid the cost of tickets, TSA, the airport waits, cramped seats, and having no equipment for the trip home.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

You were smart to check around, and use that leverage to make your deal locally. For us, that strategy failed, and we saved almost $5K by trading closer to the factory, and it fit into our travel plans. We always try to support local businesses, but there's a limit how far loyalty goes.

We are really happy with our Vegas 25.2, and learned a lot here on this forum, both before and after purchase. Did you get a 2016 coach with the E-450 chassis?

Hello new Axis friends. Day one: I left S.J. California for Elkhart In. Day Two: I will inspect and buy the new 2016.5 E450 Axis 24.1.
This afternoon I'll take the factory tour with my salesman. Maybe tomorrow I'll head south, down to the 40 and then west to California. Any and all ideas welcome.
California Dave
