New From FL

Had our Thor about 3 years and ready to trade it in. Though overall we've loved it, the workmanship is poor.

Past results may not indicate future experience. As posted here many times, the quality and finish of the Vegas and Axis certainly isn't perfect, but has improved since the first 2014 models.

Much of your satisfaction, or lack of satisfaction relates directly to your dealer.

We have the ACE 30.1. Just in general...screws crooked on work station, plastic sink (we replaced), curtains disintegrated (replaced with walmart room darkening drapes I modified). Couch is peeling. Now, rear slide won't go out. But I've heard others complain of theirs too. Friends just bought a Winnebago and they've had some issues too.

You're right. I've had four RVs from three different companies and all have come with some issues. Both PleasureWay and Phoenix Cruiser stepped up, fixed and apologized for the mistakes - in the case of Phoenix Cruiser, two years after the warrantee ran out. Thor.... not so much. I really like the design of the Vegas/Axis and we have really enjoyed ours, but Thor does not provide a comfort level that if something goes wrong, they will step up and fix it without a problem. Unfortunately, the more I read, most of the other RV companies are not any better. If Phoenix Cruiser made a small Class A like the Axis, I would buy one in a minute. We just find the Axis so much better than a similar size Class C, that we are willing to put up with their "customer service".
