THOR #1964
Hello from Erie, PA

MY boyfriend and I just got our first motor home a 2012 THOR DAYBREAK 34ss...

One of the first things we went to do after parking it in our new lot, was lower the auto levelers...however WE CAN NOT GET THEM TO LOWER. OR DO ANYTHING.

Apparently it is not an electrical problem.

Has ANY ONE EVER had this problem???

Is there something silly we maybe are missing or not doing correctly?

Thanks for reading this. If anyone can help it would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

-EMILY

Welcome to the forum.

Is the vehicle running and the transmission in park? For the leveling jacks to operate the vehicle must be running.

Also, are you getting any error codes on the control panel for the leveling jacks?

hey..cont'd..

Thank you so much for your quick response. .. yes the vehicle was running and transmission in park.
One guy said he thought it could be some auto relay in the back?
I'm sure I don't sound at all like I have any idea what I'm talking about but my boyfriend won't do the Internet stuff so im.just trying to help.
It's just really frustrating and sad when the first thing you go to do with your new 45k motorhome doesn't work

Thank you so much again for the speedy response that was awesome!!

Emily,

I forgot to ask one additional item, was the parking brake set?

If that does not work, inside the battery compartment there should be a resettable breaker. Check to ensure this relay/breaker has not tripped. Although your coach will be different, I attached a photo of my battery compartment. The breaker is the middle red spot on the left side. In fact inside the battery compartment you may have two breakers that look similar. You may want to check both.

Also, according to the manual there should also be an inline fuse inside the coach by the fuse panel. This fuse panel in my coach is under the dash on the drivers left side.

Is there any power to the jack control panel? Also, do the slides and other electrical systems operate?
