29h dump valve and jack locations

I purchased a 2018 29h in October. Sewer dump valves and jacks were/are positioned only inches from the ground. The sewer dump broke off going into a gas station. Has anyone else had these issues. Other than that, I’m fairly pleased with all else and look forward to getting a motorcycle to haul!

Those items DO sit low; I'm surprised that they'd actually touch down...

This will be the third season for mine. I also had concerns about the clearance but surprisingly I had only one issue where the front jacks scraped some speed bumps in one campground.

All I can say it's definitely not a off-road rig!

On my 31W I scraped getting in and out of a local campground dump station by turning too sharp.

So I removed the end caps, inserted pipes that attach to the floor tie downs and welded nuts for the set screws.

Love the wheeldock because I can drive into it, hit the lever and climb off of it. At 69 years old and traveling alone, everything helps!
Thanks for sharing. that is similar to the direction I'm thinking of going. I did not want to drill thru this floor as well once I saw systems that do basically what you did by anchoring to the rings that are already there and to the frame. as long as I have the room I might go with a self locking chock as well. I have a little bit of time still to decide and look.

This is a REALLY LATE 😱 thanks for your post. One of my three - the biggest one- a Weimaraner is good anywhere. The other two are airedales and they are real basket cases in the RV. I’ll just keep on working on it until they’re comfortable. I would like them to be in the garage while driving. They’re crated in the back of my Suburban in the car. The biggest one - the Weimaraner says “ like whatever”. And the two Airedales refuse to settle in. Very disappointing.
