New 2015 Vegas

We are new to RV's, took ownership of our Vegas 24.1 about a month ago. We love it and are so excited to begin to really enjoy it. Have learned so much from this site already!

Congrats on your new coach. There are , however, some things you MUST do. Remove the rear tail/brake lights, and discard the cheap, foam gasket and replace with silicone sealant. If you do not do this, water will enter the cavity and rot out the subwall. Check beneath the coach for loose dangling wires and secure them with zip-ties. Check under the cabinets for water pipe leaks. The Vegas is a fun to drive, economical motorhome, but we had numerous growing pains with this coach. QC problems seem to be the cause. The newer units seem better as we saw at some RV shows.

or you could take off the rear brake lights and seal the area; like discussed here:

One little tidbit that may not be known s that Thor has an option that they put on RVs being delivered to dealers as "Show Units".

On my Challenger's build sheet this was listed as "Special: Décor Kit of Show"

This kit ay also include a little more attention to detail than with normal production units.
