And...Bob is a true voice of experience! A bit crazy, but a good source of knowledge. He's like drinking vinegar...once you get it down, you feel better.

So, We picked up the MH this weekend. Love it. We drove 1200 miles home with it. A couple of small issues on the way, but nothing that could not be resolved. Had a problem with the windshield wipers (good thing it was not raining). Also had a problem with USB ports (Somehow they resolved them selves). I could not be happier with the ride (But it is my first MH). So the next morning, went to start the generator and it would not start. Took the MH to get gas and got the generator started. It was giving me problems all day. I did notice a smell and realized one of the batteries was overheating. So I replaced the battery and all is good. What I don't know is if I did something to cause it to overheat or was it a bad battery.

If you think of me as a "Cautionary Tale": it does help!

2017 Miramar 34.4

We purchased a 2017 34.4 about a year ago. We have enjoyed it very much. We had a few issues that we had fixed by Thor under warranty.
Our coach was represented as having the washer dryer connections but upon my inspection they had not completed the water or wiring connections. We had this completed under warranty and had a vent installed. Our coach will only handle a combo washer dryer. We plan to put one in next year.
One suggestion I would make is to consider the CHF (Cheap handling fix) and installing a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer. This combination has significantly improved the handling of our coach. You can find many posts about the CHF in this forum and others.
Happy RVing

Thanks for the suggestion. I was considering it, but The coach drove pretty good on the way home. The weather was pretty calm.
I hope we have the hook ups. That's part of the reason i bought this unit. I could not see the connections because they built up the closet and I would of had to take it apart. They said it did. I thought they all did. I may go move and take that apart the closet and find out now. LOL

Good idea to check to see if the Washer/dryer hookups are there. We had the vent installed because we were told that the vented machines work much better.
I really would suggest the CHF and Safe-T Plus. I makes driving the home much more enjoyable.
Best of luck

I took apart some of the closet and looked behind. Looks like its all there. No Vent, so I will have to get that done.
