Smile New Thor owners

Hello, we are about as new as you can be... we are going on ‘maiden voyage’ this week for a week or so just to see if everything seems to function properly and to have an adventure too. We, Kevin and Janet, live in Northern California. We are pretty much retired. We bought a 24 ft Thor Chateau after a search of a few months. Happy to be here. Thanks

My maiden voyage is just waiting for the weather to break in Montana....but I have the place picked out. Hope Thor coaches come with bolt cutters for those pesky campground gates. (Kidding, of course)

I see you are from Missoula, we have some friends who run the KOA there. Where is your destination?

Congrats Janet & Kevin. Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of information here as well as just as many owners willing to assist you. Chris and I are headed to Myrtle Beach in a few weeks. Can't wait for some warmer weather. Good luck with your new rig.

Hello. We purchased our Chateau 24F in July of 2017 and have been on 3 trips building up to a May trip to Yellowstone. So far so good with a few issues. Our maiden voyage went well except for an over crowded RV park on the beach close to Bodega Bay. Our next challenge is towing a vehicle so we don't have to drive two vehicles.

Even if it's not a perfect one, that is perfectly OK. It's all part of the journey.
