Propane Connector to a Gas Grill

Morning!
My name is Dan. I have a 2018 Thor ACE 30.4. I purchased a gas grill and I would like use the propane gas from my RV. Do I need to use a "Pigtail connection hose from the RV to the gas grill?" Or can anyone recommend what kind of connection hose I need to purchase?

Looking a solution. Thank you!

Welcome to the site. I imagine you probably purchased a grill that has a regulator built in. The propane gas port coming out of the RV is already regulated and it's a challenge to figure out how to hook a grill up to that. You will have to remove your regulator with a kit or acquire a low pressure grill.

I just went through some of this...
I did purchase a low-pressure grille.
If yours has a regulator attached to it:Tearstone is right. You'll need to convert it over.
Camping World sells the proper hose to allow you to connect your low-pressure grille to your outside propane connection on your rig.
It's part #86731
(This is a twelve foot Quick-connect hose...)

Low pressure LP

We have the RV hookup. Bought a Weber Grille and the converter for low pressure. It was easy to do and works great!

Coleman Roadtrip

Have a Coleman Roadtrip and had to eliminate the regulator in the grill. The correct adapter with a quick connect is available on Amazon and EBay. Before changing could not get a flame to the grill, now it works great.

Mine came with a BBQ hook up, bought a propane fire bit, took a little to fine all the parts but was able to convert from separate tank to RV hook up

I went to my RV dealer and slipped the mechanic $20 and he gave me a 12 foot hose that worked perfectly with my portable Weber.

This site has a lot of connectors, depending on the type of grill that you have. The picture on this page shows how to hook it up. Most are similar.

I think you have been given all the right answers. We are adding a quick connect fitting to the gas loins in our Palazzo as the 2018 unit does not have one that I can find. Had one on the fiver and did exactly what everyone said - take the regulator off and use the 12 foot hose to the grill, it's already regulated. I had an argument with a Camping world service guy who said it would not work, I,proved him wrong and got the "oh, I never saw that before"! Bet they are selling it as their idea now big time. Enjoy the grilling
