water pump

While camping I noticed water dripping from fresh water filling cap. Fresh water tank is filling up from campground water connection. I turned off campground water and water pump functions properly. When I turn campground water back on, the tank will fill back up. Any suggestions?

There is a backflow valve built into the pump. You can order a new valve fairly cheaply.

But first try running the pump for a while. Do this without city water connected. This may clear any blockage.

There is also a filter next to the pump that may need cleaning.
