Hi,

We have exchange our 2012 Safari Condo LDX (Class B) for a 2015 Axis 24.1 last year. We love the design and the small size. We have our share of Thor quality control and from our local dealer. On the 4th of july the bathroom door lock broke but by chance no one was lock up and we where at home. It took almost 2 months to get a new door from Thor and to get it installed. During that time we had install a temporary shower curtain to replace the door. On our vacation a kitchen drawer open while driving. So we stop at a hardware store to by some screws and add a few of them to the small nail that was holding the lock. Not to mention that the wipper fuse blew during a rainny day drive to Nova Scotia. We found a fabulous Ford Dealer at Turo who changed the 5 amp fuse for a 7.5 and no problem with the wipper since then.

We had a loud bang from the front passenger side near the A pillar that was repaired by our Ford dealer mechanic that has found the problem that our RV dealer never found. The problem was under the hood, the fiberglass frame was to tight to the metal frame as you can see the before and after picture. He cut off half an inch of fiber glass and voila no more loud bang.

We have change the front curtains by some handmade. We have add some small lights in the front cabine to light the floor and an electronic voltmeter in the small space under the radio.

This forum is a great source of information and we appreciate every thread.

Thor did have a run of units with bad windshield washer motors. The motor would blow the fuse every time you hit the washer button.

Welcome, and congrats on the new unit.
