Fridge

Brand new camper. Currently boondocking. Woke up this morning and fridge light is out. Panel lights still work. Still seems to be relatively cool. When I switch between auto and gas I don’t here it run. Fuse ok, what should we check next? Water heater and pump still ok as well.

There is a fuse on the circuit board for the RV fridge. Mine is a 2 amp.

We seem to only have a 15amp which controls all appliances, which is working.

When you switch it to Propane Power: can you hear it trying to light?
Clicking sounds coming from behind it...)

So when you say "fridge light is out" does that mean the bulb inside the fridge?
When you say "Panel lights still work" does that mean the control panel on the fridge?

What lights are lit when in AUTO?
What lights are lit when in GAS?

Could you just have a burnt out light bulb?

You won't hear the gas light on GAS until the fridge warms up enough to call for more cooling.

It appears tha it’s just the inside lightbulb that’s burned out...phew! 😊

Page 19 of the owners manual for Norcold fridge shows F1 as a 5 amp fuse installed on the circuit board behind the fridge. <https://norcold.com/wp-content/uploa...ers-manual.pdf.
