Wiper Problems

Did Thor do anything as far as supplying parts to remedy the problem?

wiper problems

I had my windshield wipers adjusted at Camping World. Two days later we hit a heavy downpour and the wipers flew over to the left and got stuck. I have become pretty proficient at driving on the interstate in pouring rain with no wipers.

We had the same problem with the windshield wipers - seems if you use the water to clean the windshield it will disconnect it- I think we had to replace a fuse-- 2 days after we got it. Got stuck in a big rain storm with no wipers.
Anyone know how to fix the tv to work while you are driving? I hear it's an easy fix- and I want to watch tv while my husband drives

Check with your dealer...you should have received a recall notice. This has been written about in this forum quite extensively.

Miramar wiper recall

I took to dealer and got the recall done. Went on down road first big raid wipers did the same thing. Went to a camping world in Summerfielf Florida. They check it out and said motor was not stable and was moving and that I needed a bracket made to stabilize motor. Contacted Thor and they refused to pay to have bracket made and installed. So still no windshield wipers. Been like this since first trip in coach after we bought it Thor has a destine problem and won't admit to it

I would be interested in hearing anyone's thoughts on this matter. Thanks
2014 32A here... Got replacement blades at camping world (Trico).. $40-50 for the pair. Never found them locally.

I had the small bracket connecting the wipers to the motor (1/4" steel) snap - dropping the wipers straight down in a rain storm...
After slowwww trip to next exit and applying RainX at truck stop - continued on...

Finally had some time to track down part from Thor - and waiting for it to come in to a local dealer... But guessing that isn't my only issue - as something produced enough force to break steel. We will see...

From the looks of the bolt, it appears to have had a clearance problem. You may have to grind off part of the bolt head to clear.

Wiper issue Axis

Before I left on our trip, I replaced factory main wiper nut under the cover that flips up on wiper arm with the same size "SS nylon lock nut".

Leave it to the camera to pick up a detail I didn't see with my head twisted around inside the hood with a light...
Thanks for pointing that out - will do some grinding as I replace the part.
