Yes, quite a bit.

Your onboard tank holds high pressure liquid propane.
Your onboard appliances use regulated low pressure gas propane.
Most off-the-shelf grills use high pressure gas propane.

So to use the high pressure grill you can either use an Extend-a-stay adapter and hose which goes between the tank and regulator, OR

Tap into the low pressure distribution on your coach and convert the grill to low pressure use (remove the grill's regulator).

Lotsa threads on here about this, just had an active one yesterday:

..."Most off-the-shelf grills use high pressure gas propane"...

Not necessarily...they just have their own regulator built in. You would have to remove the regulator on the grill to use the "after the regulator" source from your built in tank or, continue using the grill's regulator if you tap in to the LP line before the built in tank's regulator. Either way...the gas input to your grill must be regulated.

OK, "technically" every LP appliance uses low pressure gas, but as I said regarding an off-the-shelf grill that is designed to use a high pressure source such as the 1 lb or 20 lb bottles, " convert the grill to low pressure use (remove the grill's regulator)".

If this is going to be a permanent installation: run the line the way that "Ace" said to (tap into a low-pressure source), and get a grille without a regulator on it.
