2017 Thor Challanger37TB - night shade

I am on my second year with my RV - having troubles with my night shade over the front RV window . I can’t seem to get it to go up any suggestions - this is a new problem I have never experienced ...

I've had problems a couple of times. You tube has a video describing what to do.

Is the motor running, but the shade does not go up? Or is the motor not running? There was a recall for some models for when the motor runs but the shade won't go up. The fix is to put a pan head screw through the tube and into the plastic gear inside. you need to remove the motor to measure the correct place for the screw. I did this to mine because the recall did not extend to our model, even though I had emailed Thor to make them aware that our shade unrolled going down the highway at around 60 mph. Kinda scary.
