30 amp vs. 50 amp

Ok, so we are newbies and have a Thor 31L with 30 amp. I'm looking at a site that says it has full hook up but list 50 amp service.

Does that mean we can not use that site?

Depends on what they have on the power post. Some with 50 amp also have a 30 amp plug. To cover the possibilities, get a 50 Amp to 30 Amp "dogbone" adapter.

As Ed stated get a dogbone adapter and enjoy. With my prior class C which was 30 amp we stayed at one campground that was 50 amp only at the pedestal. The owner there had a supply of adapters he would loan out if necessary. They told us about the 50 amp only when we made the reservation so I bought my adapter before we left home.

Also, it only takes a couple minutes to call the campground to verify what they have at the pedestal.
