And usually, the dash is the first place you'll find her.

How Cold Is It?

At 50 degrees: Californians reach for their sweaters.
At 40 degrees: British cars won't start.
At 30 degrees: Floridians are booking flights to Hawaii.
At 20 degrees: Deer hunters in Michigan will put on a long-sleeved shirt.
At 10 degrees: Snowblower sales double!
At 0 degrees: Folks in Wisconsin will have a barbecue... after they find
the grille that's under the snowbanks.
At -10 degrees: German cars won't start.
At -20 degrees: Alaskans will close the bathrrom window.
At -30 degrees: The snowmobilers are getting frostbite on their tonsils;
from grinning so much.
At -40 degrees: Ice fishing shacks in Maine start getting nuclear-powered furnaces.
At -50 degrees: Brass Monkeys leave the Country.
At -60 degrees: Hell officially freezes over!
At -70 degrees: Politicians will actually put their hands into their
OWN pockets!
