Is Anyone Using a Mighty Hauler Setup?

I'm looking for some first-hand info about these carriers:

https://www.mightyhauler.com/1200g.html

My Golfcart only weighs 400 pounds, so I'm wondering if this might be a viable option...

Thanks!

You need to check the rear axle weight. For my coach, it is 12,000 lbs. Empty weight on rear is 10,980. Since the weight would be well behind the rear axle, any weight on the rear would double (think teeter-toddler). So if i didn't put in the rear compartments or bedroom, I could only carry 510 lbs. Of course part of my problem is the 109 lb outside kitchen and the 121 lb spare tire and carrier. What you need is a Smart Trailer. <smarttrailers.com/>

I am more than a bit concerned about the weight: I'm just sort of looking for positive and negative comments, before continuing down this path...
Thanks!

Check out the Smart trailer SL200D, I'm in same situation as you I pull my car on a dolly behind my 40ft gas coach and now I want a golf cart. I've looked at the deck over dolly, tamdom tow,now smart trailer, the big difference with smart trailer is it looks like you flat or dolly tow as usual and smart trailer goes behind your toad on its hitch but to me it's not double tow because smart trailer tracks like a vehicle extension it has 2 attachment points not one it's interesting concept.

I would be concerned more with what the tongue weight is, condition of the trailer hitch, and its mountings.

There will be a lot of torque being handled cantilever like that.

Golf cart plus carrier weight for a net weight!

I remember and old man telling me years ago (when I was young)..."your first thought is usually the right one". Now that I'm an old man...I've learned how true this is. Stick with the trailer idea we talked about last year. Hardly any hitch weight...gives you room for other things like ladder, portable generator, fuel jugs, grills...lots of options. I wouldn't install that device on your new coach...to much weight.

Don,
I guess that your Old Man was correct...
But we aren't "Old Men": the correct term for us is "Olpharts".
