Bug Out!

Axis spotted, Tacoma in tow, packing up to bug out before the Saddleridge Fire mandatory evacuation, Oct 11 @1:30am. Porter Ranch, CA.
Oh wait, that's ME!
Happy to report 2 humans, 3 dogs and 1 badass parakeet are safe and were home in 20 hours. God bless the LAFD! Dorothy was right...there's no place like HOME.

Vegas 25.2 Sugar Land Today

Spotted Today : Vegas 25.2 in HEB parking lot, just off I-59 in Sugar Land. Nice satellite dish and custom front curtains. Our Axis 25.2 is parked about 1/2 mile away. Left a "Hello!" on the windshield.

Axis 25.6 - the right choice for us

We opted for the 25.6 (initially looked at 22 foot class Cs). After really thinking about how we would be using it we went slight bigger. Got a roomier shower, a bed we can walk around, and tons of interior storage. I love the flip up desk at the passenger seat. Becomes my office when parked.

We’ve been on the road 2 months. Just said to my husband this morning that the rig seems to have been the right choice for us and our 80# dog, as we have been super comfortable the whole time.

Surprised how few Axis Or Vegas models we have seen. Saw a couple in the Las Cruces (NM) KOA about two weeks ago.

24.1 Happy

Spotted our own 2018 Axis 24.1 in a Florida Panhandle setting this beautiful weekend; all working. Fluctuation with hot/cold water; minor. We don’t winterize, do leave in “use” mode, and start up occasionally. Discovered we can leave a 10 ft length of sewer hose attached to the outlet; plenty of room for it in the cubby. One fewer connection we have to make and unmake! Add to it as needed. Safe travels to all!

Axis spotted on 23rd St headed west around noon today in Panama City, FL. Looked like a 24.1. Someone headed to the beach?

Flying J Aurora, OR spotted a Vegas (think a 24.1) waiting for a wash. Made us wish were in ours and not the truck [emoji53].Click image for larger version
