Battery Replacement Question

I’d like to change out the two Harris house batteries with AGM’s on my ‘17 Vegas. Is it necessary to change the Harris chassis battery as well to keep it consistent? Thanks in advance.

Nope...
Your rig will be perfectly happy with fresh batteries in either end of it!

WHY do you feel the need to change anything? You have a very new coach...is something 'going on' to make you feel that way?

My starting battery (chassis) is Motorcraft. The house batteries are Harris

Bear in mind that the chassis battery(s) is a cranking battery. It will be rated in CCA capacity.
House batteries are deep cycle. Rated in perhaps 20Hr reserve capacity. Even though the two systems can be interlinked at times and are similar in some ways they operated independently.
Hopefully you've researched your intended AGM's along with their merits and drawbacks. You'll need to change / modify your charging profile(s) slightly to prolong their performance / lifespan.

I'm in the middle of looking at AGM batteries for my rig... How do we make the changes that you are referring to?

Sorry, I’m not familiar with what you meant in terms of having to change/modify the charging profiles. My coach is plugged in 24/7 from the garage 120v

Does not apply to a standard RV converter. Put your AGM in. in place of your flooded LA batteries and they's be happy just as well.

Good point, providing they are mainly sitting around in continuous float cycle. Although, I've seen RV converters with programmable, profiles. YMMV.

FWIW: For doing serious work AGM's use different bulk , absorb, rates VS, LA. Inverters / charge controllers have "profiles" for this purpose.

Also despite their being maintenance free, a merit. A drawback is, they are more susceptible to damage from trying to force peak wattage at them in elevated temperatures. Ideally, an external charge controller temp probe is recommended to throttle those rates.

Be well.
