We replaced the rock, um, mattress that came with our coach from a local mattress overstock store. They also cut it to fit the RV King (72" x 76") and stitched it back up like new, at no charge.

Physically changing the mattress was like real work!!

This is about asking if someone prefers "Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads".
The only logical answer is "YES"!
Truthfully: you just have to find one that suits your back the best. There is no one correct answer.

We put a 4" topper (from Sam's) on our factory mattress and we love it. Me and the DW had some fun cutting the topper to fit.

We replaced our mattress with one from Mattress Insider. They cater to RV owners.

This is the one we went with: https://www.mattressinsider.com/inne...-mattress.html

For the front drop down bunk, we replaced that mattress with "meistervik foam mattress" from IKEA.

Miramar Mike, If you are located near OC, go to Custom Comfort and take your pick of any mattress in the store and they will make one specific to the size you need. Prices range from around $700 on up depending on your needs. That is what we did and are very happy with the results.
