Residential Frig

I have a residential frig in MH. I have it connected to shore power when stored. Does it hurt to leave the frig running or should I turn it off?

Thanks in advance for feedback.

JH

It doesn't hurt to leave your MH fridge running anymore than your home one. We leave ours stocked and connected for emergency evacuation (we live in earthquake & fire country).
If you have absolutely no need for it and nothing in it, I would clean it out and prop it open to save electricity, wear on the compressor, frost build up and reduce possible fire or other damage to the MH on the event of a compressor or other failure, or even to keep stuff from rotting in it if the power or it fails and you're away for a long time.
I hope this helps...

I agree: how many years has the one in your house been running?
Besides: it'll make a great place to hide some snacks (and adult beverages!)
