Best black tank chemical additive?

There are so many on the market - liquids, little pouches that dissolve in the tank... Does anyone have any brand they prefer or prefer to stay away from?

It's one of the many subjects that gets, (for some) a lot of different opinions. I use the pouches, but also when I dump the black I flush real well then add water, a pouch and Dawn soap(about a cup). Seems to keep my sensors clean as well. Several years of this method has worked for me. Good luck !

As said everyone has an opinion. I use Rhino Holding Tank Treatment. I purchase the six pack of 4 oz bottles and use one bottle with every tank dump.

I used to use the pods on my prior coach until a pod did not completely dissolve and the pod casing covered and hardened around the nozzle of my black tank flush (inside the tank).
