Best option for selling RV?

I'm moving on to a Newmar. I like my ACE and it was a great first coach, but after I had to cancel a trip between Christmas and New Years because there was no way my ACE could handle the single digit temps, I'm moving to a coach known to be able to handle those temps.

I know if I trade in my ACE I will get hammered. When I went on RVTrader, it looked like all the coaches on there were being sold by dealers. Is there a good site to privately sell used RVs?

Congrats on your new coach! It seems to me that RV Trader has become a site for dealers. I have known a couple that sold on the site as an individual. Best of luck.

I have no advice for helping you sell your old rig...

But congratulations! Your new one sounds exciting!
Hope that you pile up lots of "Miles & Smiles" with it!

i sold last 3 on Ebay & did Very Well. I like the fact that you can load with large photos etc.

We sold our last two motor homes on Craigslist. Local cash sales are the only way to go for us.

We had a friend who had luck selling his RV on RVT.com. (Not the same as RV Trader)

If listed on Craigslist be aware that the 1st 10 calls/text/emails you receive WILL BE scams; wanting to list/sell your rv (scam). "I'm overseas in the military & will send a cashiers check" (scam). Just be VERY cautious dealing with ANYONE on CL, cash only, NO cashiers checks & you certainly know absolutely NO personal checks.
I'm currently trying to sell my 5er & get these calls at least once a week. Also you'll find that YOUR rv is next to worthless to anyone but you. Everyone wants factory warranty (which in a lot of cases is worthless) & someone to find financing for them. Mine is 5 years old, all the kinks of new have been taken care of, new tires, upgraded to disc brakes, new batteries, custom interior features, much less $$ than a lesser new 5er & still can't sell it.
