Smile sewer line extension

Has anyone ether extended or flat out bought longer hose for the sewer dump line?. my wife and i have an ACE 29.2 and find it strange that Thor would only provide enough hose to reach about 8-10' while in most cases we find we need an additional 5 to 10' of hose. This would not seem to be a problem for most RVers considering the average sewer line is a 4" slinky type line and appears to be available just about everywhere you look, however if you have a macerator pump your line is approximately 1-1/4 od and 1" id with a flexibility temperature rating for -40 to +150 and fairly small in size compared to what most are a custom to.
I have been researching these lines and found in most places/cases do not carry them or only provide 20' replacement hoses with all the fittings. I really don't want to splice the line with a PVC type coupling in fear it may break at the least inopportune time. I found what i believe could be a source for the line at Tigerflex: part# BW100
i Just don't need 100'.
Do Any of my fellow RVers have any suggestion to remedy my dilemma or idea where i can purchase 50' of line.

V/R
Jeff

Thor doesn't provide any sewer hose. Typically the short 8'-10' hose is just the starter kit provided by the dealer.

We carry the standard 15' rhino kit (RhinoFLEX Swivel RV Sewer Kit - Camco 39761 - Sewer Hoses - Camping World ) and a 10' extension. I've only had to use the 10' extension once.

I appreciate your response, I reviewed the items you use and find this is the traditional hose that most RV's use. My system uses a much smaller hose due to the macerator pump. I could convert it to a gravity fed system however would prefer not to.

Thanks for your response.

Is the system on your coach the Clean Dump system?

Yes it is. The discharge line is 1 inch inner diameter.
It converts from what looks to be the traditional 3 inch or 4 inch line prior to the macerator pump. on the discharge side of the macerator pump it reduces down to 1 inch discharge line.

Disclaimer: The info in my mind is about 2 years old and may have changed. I am not responsible for any lapse in memory as a result of increased age.

If I remember correctly Clean Dump uses a standard Flow Jet pump and then adapts it from 3/4 inch to 1 inch for the discharge hose. What never made sense to me, when I was looking at macerators for my class C is if the standard discharge is 3/4 inch it doesn't matter what size the discharge hose is the pump is limited to the 3/4 inch outlet port.

With that said, have you considered adapting the pump back down to 3/4 inch and using a standard 3/4 inch garden hose?

No I haven't considered a garden hose, a very good idea. Low cost too
I could change out the fitting at the pump to convert it over.
Great idea.

I use a fifty foot 5/8" garden hose with a FloJet macerator and run it into a toilet. Works great. Have been using it for four years.

Wow John S did you have to replace the reduction fitting at the discharge of the macerator pump to a hose bib type fitting or did it just slide over the existing one with a hose clamp to secure it.

The FloJet is designed to be used with a garden hose. All I had to do was screw the hose onto the macerator and turn it on.
As a sidenote, the first time I used it, I failed to notice the little rubber washer had fallen out of the end of the hose. You'll have to imagine what happened next! Once I figured that out, it has worked perfectly ever since.
