Congratulations on getting your tank sensors back!
From what I've read: you were pretty lucky!

Usually the grey tank fill. Quickly, sink, shower, bath sink go in grey, toilet in black usually

You are correct and don’t trust the sensors..We also have 2016 24.1 vegas

If you can keep them from getting clogged up: they can actually work pretty well!

But that can be a darn big "If"!

In the 24.1 the black tank is 30 gal and the gray 40 gal. So with a 42 gal fresh tank it is pretty hard to fill up the blank tank if you take any showers and use your kitchen sink without refilling the fresh water tank before dumping. I have a clean dump system so it is easy to measure the waste in each tank by the number of seconds it takes for the clean dump to pump out each tank. My gray tank is always twice as full as my black.

I have challenger with 1&1/2 bath. Get this. Everything in front goes in front black tank including washer. Except the black tank flush it goes into the front gray tank. Oh and then I can’t drain the front gray tank. The back bath shower is gray and toilet and sink is black. God help me this new challenger is a mess I can’t begin to relay all that is wrong with it
