Product Firmware Updates

I installed it this morning and now the radio switches back to the rear camera after the turn signal is canceled, there is a delay between switching but I think that’s caused by the switch box. Sound still mutes and I plan to follow up with Mito about that
Second question, do you know if it works for AVM70LH model....is that what you have?

If you look at the bottom of the page there is a list of the models this update works for. There is also a link to a PDF to describe how to update but it's fairly simple:

Unzip the file, put the update on a zip drive, turn the radio off, plug in the zip drive, turn the radio back on and it will go from there..

Actually "Zip Drive" refers to an obsolete storage media from Iomega (I'm sure I have one in my basement):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zip_drive
It was basically a large floppy drive holding 100MB at first, then larger amounts later (I think I have one of the 250MB versions).

Horrible horrible drives. If you absolutely positively wanted to guarantee never ever seeing your data again store it on a Zip Drive.

You need a USB drive to do the firmware update.

I didn’t find any spot for that. Just do a Google search for your mirror model number along with the word instructions and Google will find them.

I didn't find anything about adjustable mirror cameras, but found an owners manual. In the manual it shows how to adjust the "home" position of the mirror. Moving the passenger mirror forward would help me out. It sits so far back that all my DW has to do is look down at her phone and she blocks the mirror. Now, I am wondering how badly it will put the cameras out of whack. DOH
