Yes, I was thinking the same thing.

I lived full time in a nice campground a few years ago, had a gazebo, golf cart, BBQ, lawn furniture with outdoor dining table, outdoor carpeting, obvious that it was a full time site. Came back one evening to find a family sitting at my dining table having dinner. I initially was very polite and explained this was a private site and would they please move. The husband said they were eating dinner, my furniture was much more comfortable than the wood picnic table, and they would be done soon, I went BALLISTIC, the VERY ugly Marine came out, and I informed (not politely) that they would NOT be finishing their dinner at my table and they would be leaving now!!!

The campground manager just happened to come along (lucky for them) and asked what was going on. After listening to both sides of the story he informed the couple he would be refunding their fee and they needed to be out of the park in 30 min, if not the sherif would be called! After a somewhat heated discussion about proper etiquette in a campground and probable parentage of the couple they packed up and left.

The mother of stupid is always pregnant!!!

Super D...that's a classic example of the entitlement I speak of. Summertime is when they are at their worst. Lucky for us, we soon will travel in the retired state and can pick and choose the areas we want to visit at the time we want to visit them.

SuperD,
I think that while I was loudly explaining the error of their ways: I'd have been eating the food that they had on their plates.
After all: If I'm sharing the site; the're gonna have to share their food!

Same here...I have about a 3 minute window of patience for ignorance. It's either black or white...gray doesn't exist anymore at this age! (except the hair)

That has only become a problem in last few years. I think it’s because society has very few who consider others

Have had a few encounters with the pregger stupuds..... but just inform the park management that their clientele does not meet our expectation of maintaining our privacy or the security of our possessions as we are leaving..

Two must see things in the Ozarks: Eureka Springs and the Passion Play. Several nice campgrounds in the area, plan on staying in Eureka a few days, LOTS of interesting things to see. Check out Two Dumb Dames fudge factory in downtown Eureka, GREAT fudge and saltwater taffy!!! I’ve seen the Passion Play at least 10 times and loved it every time, no bad seats anywhere!

There was a request for recommendations for "high end RV Parks" on a facebook group I belong to. The poor OP was blasted for even asking, let alone mentioning they were only interested in high end resorts. You could easily tell the site invaders from the people who understand campground etiquette in the replies. The site invaders were exactly the types of campers he was hoping to avoid for a relaxing vacation. Some people feel the extra expense is worth it.
