many of us have had the same issue with the 'compartment' type door which probably do not seal well, and also how the factory 'builds' these storage bay 'boxes', made from plywood with a covered fiberglass white interior 'waterproof' covering. Any holes, unsealed edges, etc can easily allow water in while the coach is driving, mainly from the water thrown from the wheels. When parked, the storage doors can, unfortunately, also allow water coming down the wall of the coach to flow over the frame's edge, hugging the interior of the top of the door frame, and onto/into the bay wherever it finds any tiny hole or unsealed section.
I've learned, after many techniques and tries to stop it, that I might just have to live with it and understand that driving in the rain is not the best option, though sometimes it's not avoidable. I've sealed and foamed and sprayed and changed the original seals and still not much difference. Ugh. But, oh well.
