Thankyou Jamie ! We pay $600 for 6 months of storage .. If the cover lasts us 5 yrs, before replacing it, we are $ ahead . We have room on our property to set the Axis where it should be protected from wind...we don't get as much snow as you..that could be a plus...Ron winterizes completely...so extreme cold and wind chill will not be an issue. Shall see what he decides.

We actually moved it today to go get gas and re-position it from the wind. Slides and jacks all worked. The hard part was clearing a path.

Badlands National Park
That’s our Challenger 37 KT in the distance. Our first boon-docking experience last October on a ridge overlooking the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. It was cold, windy, and exhilarating! And the night sky was awesome, too! Highly recommended.
This location is six miles south of Wall, SD. Turn left at the dirt lane leading to the twin cell towers.

So, not an Axis, but our Thor 23U makes for a good travelling companion. Ozark Outdoors in Leasburg, MO is a wonderful place to explore the rivers and caves of Missouri. Right next to Onodaga Cave and right on the Meramec River.
