This was on our first outing in the Serrano to Lake Okeechobee, one of our favorite hang-outs. Beautiful sites right on the rim canal. Nice breeze and beautiful company!

This was on a more recent visit to Clermont. That's a Par 3 golf course behind us. Another one of our favorite locations.

First 2 are in the Florida panhandle directly on the lake. Third one is North Carolina. That's the view of the stream out the front window of the RV. Sorry no direct pics of the Axis.

It's Outdoor Resorts - Orlando. In addition to the golf course it is situated on a large lake. Not primitive, lots of permanents, but very relaxing and friendly.

One of my favorite state parks is Calhoun Falls SP on beautiful Lake Russell in SC. Large, private and well maintained RV sites with concrete pads for RV's. Boat ramps and rental boats, canoes and kayaks available. Simply beautiful!

I been to about 4 or 5 different places around Beaver Lake area (I have many more to visit). I like all of them so far. I guess you have to decide if you want to be on the water or how wooded you want your site. Lots of options. Look up the ones you like and run it by me... But truthfully I dont think you can go wrong with any of them (as long as you look at the site your booking first on line - my wife love that feature.... she dont like surprises.... unless they are good surprises - lol).

Thank YOU !! I will check out what is available...when water is near, we do like to be on the shore side...if possible...bur we are generally good for any good campground where we can get out and enjoy a good walk and a ride on the motorcycle....I agree with your wife...I like to know what we are getting into ahead of time !

How is that park? It looks nice from your pic. (It isn't too far from us and I've been tempted to try it.)

Hi Jamie, it is an awesome park, all the park is set up with cul de sacs, each one is divided by bushes or tress pretty much so your neighbor isn't in your business. During the day we often just drive the rv down to the beach and enjoy from there. Busy park though, got to make reservations pretty far in advance. Nice walking paths, some inland ponds for fishing, just electric hookups though so fill your tanks.
