Here again. We visited family. Drove up to our house in Michigan yesterday. We highly recommend McFarland Park and Florence has great restaurants and fun things to do.

we had a good spot in the park for the 4th but it was so hot and muggy. The poor dogs spent most of their time inside under the AC, (and shedding)

Kick'n back at M.B.T.P. with friends and family, kinda tight sites. But Weather is great. Smoken a pork shank, and listen to Southern Rock and BBQ on the radio....

Trish and I just got back from 5 days at Shoal Creek Campground in Buford, GA., which is on the shores of Lake Lanier. We got there on Sunday and by noon Monday, we were the only campers left in our area. There's a lot to be said about hitting the campgrounds on weekdays.
We frequented the Atlanta area and visited all the stores/shops where Trish loves to shop. Over the time we were there we ate Chinese at PF Chang's, seafood at some nice hideaway place and had breakfast at Cracker Barrel. And the BBQ's at the camp site were the best!
Motor home ran like a top and handled like a sport car. (Well, a really big, fat sports car...) All in all, I give the trip a 9.5 out of 10.
