musty smell

We noticed a musty smell inside our bottom cupboards in our travel trailer. Seems to be in the wood ?. It is a 1997 trailer. Other cupboards are good. I tried baking soda, vinegar and washed them all down inside. Any ideas what I can do. Thanks.

If you don't see any tell tale signs of a cause (old ham sandwich or erupted can of chili), I would start investigating the possibility of water intrusion between the cabinet wall and the trailer wall. Also could check to make sure that there is not a defective anti-siphon valve close by that may be leaking odors from the gray tank.

Try not serving Chili on the last night spent in the rig...
If there's a leak underneath your shower: it might just manifest itself in an odd place like that...

At 20+ years old, I would suspect rot. Start by probing the wall in the area, looking for soft spots and brown stains.
