Of course, it was kind of nice that when my Mom had me walk to the grocery store for something, I could pick up a few soda (pop where I grew up) bottles and get enough in deposit money to buy myself a bottle to drink while at the store. Sometimes even had enough for a bag of chips or a candy bar, too.[emoji16]
I remember those days fondly! It is a time that society is degenerating to a AAM level(All About Me). My wife and I have been seeing this for at least the last 10 years or so. People just need to live by the Golden Rule that most of us learned in grade school. Life would go a lot more smoothly

about a month and a half ago someone let their big dog go right where DH had to hook up our water. Later the folks sat outside with him. grrrrrr! We put it in a sealed bag and left the sealed bag for them to see
Poor dog, having to live with people like that! NOT HIS FAULT.

I might have been tempted to put it right at the bottom of their steps...

I think it was at Hillsborough River SP, but not sure about that..... rather large concrete pad surrounding the dump hole....I ended up sanitizing the whole pad..curb, rinse hose, and all, using a full bottle of bleach based mildew cleaner and the can of lysol spray I keep handy with my water and sewer supplies...

....after watching the guy in front of me who apparently thought it was very nice of the park to make a nice concrete funnel so he didn't have to aim carefully at the pipe. He did wash down the area after with the rinse hose, but that took him a while. I must have had a horrible look of disgust, or else a vein popped on my forehead, because at some point he says to me something like "It's ok, it just grey water"....
uhhh, no.... I aint color blind and that aint grey

I saw a guy in Moab a few weeks ago hanging his sewer hose to dry on a tree branch at his campsite in the morning. In the evening when returning his had his towel hanging to dry from the exact same branch. Ewwwwww..............

Sad thing is that yo are probably right. I also saw someone filling up their freshwater tank with the hose at the dump station, and no, not the hose sometimes further up marked as "potable water".

So, we're in a Massachusetts State Park, on the beach/inlet last September. Beautiful summer morning.

Enjoying my morning coffee, trying not to watch my neighbor dump her tanks, when I hear:

oh oh Oh OH OOOOHHHH OOOHH

OH I'm sorry ............

Yep, she pulled the handle - with the hose not attached ! See the cap still on the tank?

And what you see around the tank is what you think it might be.

And that then she left the campground - and the mess.

I will agree with everyone in this thread, there are a lot of knuckleheads in the RVing community and they park on both sides of the loop.

Wow!!! I never thought of that. The Clorox wipes are a great idea.

And just wait... Was at a campground dump station (no hookups), just electric for the camp host) Lots of "contractor" generators bellowing away 24/7...
Just because I have large (over 100 gal) holding tanks so it does take a while to dump, having to hear the snide comments about "if it takes so long to dump your tanks with that huge monstrosity, why don't you stay with your kind of rich people in the resorts?" ...

Wow what a bunch of assbags. Oh well to each their own. I wouldn’t pay attention to them. Besides if they are that jealous maybe they should work harder in life and maybe they can have that as well: never thought about being jealous for the amount of poop someone’s RV can hold

We did without any toys or vacations for over 40 years in order to write a check for the coach.

THis past weekend I noticed that my neighbor had the water filter (the blue inline small replace yearly one) hooked up backwards. He had the same one as I do and there is an arrow embossed on the canister that points the flow direction.

I wanted to point it out to him, but the DW said do not so I did not. Two questions, will it work backwards? Second should I have pointed it out? In discussion they have had the unit for 2+ years so it has not harmed anything (provided it can work in reverse).
