can I still install winch?

I plan on getting a Wrangler JK unlimited to tow behind my rv so I will be installing a base plate. Will this prevent me from installing a winch later on? Thanks.

That's a good question... One that would be best answered by the folks who make the baseplate...

Yes,you can install a winch,but know the baseplate only works with the factory bumper.most people with Jks and winches also have a aftermarket bumpers. I just bought some universal brackets and bolted them to the aftermarket bumper using graded bolts.a lot cheaper than a baseplate

I was curious because I saw on Youtube about a winch plate that attaches to the OEM bumper. I guess I will have to do more investigating. Thanks.

Looks like mine is actually bolted to the winch plate.not the bumper
