If you played your cards right in life, part of owning a motorhome is affording to pay someone else to do it and enjoy paying them...from the zero gravity chair with a nice cocktail in hand...not letting your "Mr. Fixit" ego ruin your attitude.

Yeah, about the same with me. Got lots of tools but if I see it as too much hassle, I'll take to a repair shop...which is about half the time.

Another option is to buy simple so not as much stuff to fix or maintain.

Yeah, thought about that too. Take a trip? Get the reservations for plane, ID, Passport, what gate & how many plane changes, how much time you have to switch planes, car rental, hotel, where to go when you get there ... etc. Then deal with the airport, parking long term, the people lines, airline seats and when you get off the airplane, where is your luggage, the exit and your hotel, the time changes and good restaurants? Then repeat the process going back home after you deal with customs. The RV experience has a few less items to go wrong. Took a long train trip a couple of years ago and it was somewhere in between. Hey, maybe I should take a cruise? Except I was on ships a long time ago and I'm not into all that noise and looking at all that water. Oh well, they all make for good stories around the RV campground.

I wholeheartedly agree. Just can't get the blackened hot dogs, the seared steak, the beer, the S'mores and the old fashioned ice cream to go together though.

There is an app called RV Checklist for apple IOS, I am sure there is also a port to Android.

Bob -- I developed an Axis/Vegas Owners' Manual and it is available here on the forum. Even if you don't have a Vegas or Axis the front of the manual has checklists that are applicable to any RV regardless of Manufacturer. The manual also has system descriptions that are pretty standard among all manufacturers. But in your case -- I'm sure you'd find the checklists useful.
