Yeah, thought about that too. Take a trip? Get the reservations for plane, ID, Passport, what gate & how many plane changes, how much time you have to switch planes, car rental, hotel, where to go when you get there ... etc. Then deal with the airport, parking long term, the people lines, airline seats and when you get off the airplane, where is your luggage, the exit and your hotel, the time changes and good restaurants? Then repeat the process going back home after you deal with customs. The RV experience has a few less items to go wrong. Took a long train trip a couple of years ago and it was somewhere in between. Hey, maybe I should take a cruise? Except I was on ships a long time ago and I'm not into all that noise and looking at all that water. Oh well, they all make for good stories around the RV campground.
