Converting dinet to a bed

I have a Thor Windsport 27K. It has a dinet with an oval table and a rap around bench stile seat. I think it should be convertible into a bed but I'm not sure how. The back rest in the center of the bench seat pulls forward allowing the seat portion to be swung forward and allowing access to 2 seat belts. This seat portion also has a bracket that swings down to the floor which makes me think it can be used for a bed. Does anyone have any ideas how to make this into a bed.

You could always give your Dealer a call, and ask them for the directions...

Bob, I must say you are a genius. How did you come up with such a on-point answer?

Those units have the L shaped sofa and it has an air bed in it. But I dont know how to work it.... but knowing that it is an air bed might change how you are looking at it to open

The O.P. is describing it as "U-shaped"...
At least that's how I interpreted the post.
I simply suggested the dealership since a phone call is usually the quickest way to track down something like this...

The floor plan says it makes into a 74x45 sleeping area. I suspect each table leg comes it two parts and when separated allow the table to drop to the sofa level. Then as you said the sofa cushions can be pulled out from the to cover the table.

The bottom seat swings up and the bracket rotates below it to support it. You will then have a bare hard area that the air bed that was originally supplied with the coach to lay on. It's slightly bigger than a twin bed and smaller than a full bed. When we used it in our ACE we used a 6 inch foam mattress that we could roll up and put on the master bed when not in use.

We eventually replaced that couch with a dual reclining love seat as that couch is extremely uncomfortable.

Glad to help. Your 27K is very similar to our 27.1, a coach I am intimately familiar with.

Thanks for the help of everyone. I did try to call the dealer and they said I should bring it in however I needed to make an appointment. This motor home was purchased used and there is no trace of a of an air bed. But again I want to thank all that answered. I at least know what this dinet bed is suppose to do.

Ours was purchased used as well (only 2300 miles) and just like you, there was no sign of the air bed. When we did use that as a bed for my MIL we used this mattress:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

At that time it was $80; crazy price increase to $265

We found our air mattress in the little inside compartment with the sliding door by the steps.

Please provide info in the dual reclining love seat. I have looked at a number of suppliers and could not fine any that would fit the width and length space. I would need to remove the all of the "L" couch and rewire the location of the electrical convertor so there would be room to climb into the driver seat. The length issue is where open the recliner would come to the small inland by the entry door. I have a 2015 27k windsport. May be the floor plan has change with this year's model. Rich
